Paper Passion

This was a free assignment for school and the main objective was to have fun! Just for the love of handmade graphics!

Les Catas

A book I made about my journey to the Catacombes of Paris. The assignment was to make a book about a fascination and this was one of mine. I always wanted to go there, and when I got this assignment at school, I saw a possibility to experience it myself.

Even though I had a hard time capturing my experience, I’m pretty happy with the result. The book is bi-langual (french and english).

Special thanks to:

Machine 'S'

For an assignment at school I had to challenge myself to make the most …… letter ever(you could fill in the dots yourself). I challenged myself to draw the ‘most detailed letter ever’. The artist that I picked as ‘the one to beat’ had made an organic letter, so it was only natural that I would make mine mechanic.

Zwierige Eenvoud

A booklet about the stamps designed by Dutch Typedesigner Jan van Krimpen. I wanted to make a booklet that had an analog feel to it. I also made an envelope to package the booklet. On the envelope I used the original stamps (dated 1946) and for the the cover as well as for the envelope I used the pressure lead technique.

Schouwreel 2009

This is a showreel movie I made for my review at school. It actually started out as an expiriment for a stopmotion movie.

Embrace Change

This is a mural I did in my girlfriends’ livingroom. She wanted a typographic illustration with an empowering vibe to it.
